Feel the beet (beat)! - How to improve your stamina simply if you exercise

It has been a while since my last post. As April a Marathon month and lots of people do endurance sport I thought it's only valid to suggest a drink which would increase endurance whatever you sport you are into. Running, cycling, swimming, walking, yoga, pilates, high intensity interval training, martial arts, dancing, etc.  

Beetroot, spinach and parsley are packed full of nitrates that they will enhance your stamina. Read further on as it gets better and take my word for it when I say it's delicious! 

So here is how you can make your tasty (does not taste vegetable flavoured at all!) stamina drink:

- half a handful of spinach

- few leaves of fresh basil

- a tablespoon of fresh parsley (including the stalk)

- 1 banana

- 1 pear (with skin on and cored)

- 1 carrot peeled

- fresh beetroot juice (2-3 tablespoons)

- water (4-6 tablespoons, according to thickness)

- 1 scoop of protein powder. 

Blend it altogether in your Nutri Bullet, Nutri Ninja, Vitamix or normal blender (whatever you might have). Enjoy the drink couple of hours before you start your exercise.
